Rohini Mattoo

Dr. Rohini started her academic journey with an M.Sc from the MS University of Baroda, Vadodara, Gujarat and then did her PhD at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. During her postdoctoral research at Johns Hopkins University, she characterized a novel cell wall enzyme from the M. avium an emerging opportunistic pathogen. Dr. Rohini was the recipient of the prestigious Director’s New Innovator award by the National Institute of Health (NIH), USA.
