Nilufar Sabet-Kassouf
Strategic Programs Manager, Sustainability in the Digital Age, Canada
Nilufar is the Strategic Programs Manager for the Sustainability in the Digital Age initiative and the Future Earth Canada Hub. In this role, she currently focuses in particular on working with the Coalition for Digital Environmental Sustainability (CODES), a global multi-stakeholder platform working at the nexus of the digital revolution and global environmental sustainability established as part of the implementation process for the UN Secretary-General’s Roadmap for Digital Cooperation. She holds a BSc in Cell and Molecular Biology from Concordia University and an MSc in Biochemistry from McGill University, focusing on structural studies of antibiotic resistance mechanisms. Previously, she has also engaged in collaborative research projects in neuroscience and music at The Centre for Research on Brain, Language and Music. Nilu is also a musician, a yoga instructor and an avid rock climber who boulders competitively in her free time.
